Symphony for Quartet by Tinn Tam

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Winner of the QuickSilver Quills Award, categ. Best Marauder Era.

What did being a Marauder truly mean?... Let's just say that some tunes cannot be played by a lone musician; and those four's lives were certainly not soloists' scores. In class or in detention, in Quidditch matches or full-moon wanderings, fleeing before monsters or confronting dark wizards, they wrote, measure after measure, their own eight-handed piece.

Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs, are proud to present a Symphony for Quartet.

A Smile That Explodes by electronicquillster

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: You might think you know the story of the Marauders and their peers, but you only know its ending and a few scenes preceeding that.

They went to school amidst Voldemort's first ascent to power, and they were not the only ones around then, either. Herein you will find their story, as well as the story of their friends and peers. It doesn't have a happy ending, though they had such a merry youth.

I repeat, it's not a happy ending, but you already knew that. However, you may find joy in what happened before then... We know they did.

Note: I removed the story after the release of DH and made some drastic changes to chapter one. Chapter two will follow soon...

Twitters in the Night by Hermione_Rocks

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Her spine curled against the base of the tree, she watched the bird perched on a branch above her head carefully. Its bright yellow feathers seemed to glow slightly in the dark, its small beak opening and closing in endless chatter.

“Silencio,” she whispered, aiming her wand at the little creature. The bird’s twitters quieted, its beak parting in silence now. She needed the thing muted for the next step, the more important one, otherwise neighbors may come intrude. And that was the last thing she wanted.

“Crucio.”

I have no idea how it happens It is meant to be. But it’s going to take some fighting for if we want to keep it. It would be a lot easier to just stick to what we know, really.
