Mercy is Not Apparent by Ron x Hermione

Albus Dumbledore and Harry Potter have just discovered that a cave could contain one of the missing Horcruxes of Voldemort. They have ventured quietly out of Hogwarts to extend their search.

But why is Dumbledore moaning and screaming while he is drinking a certain green potion in the cave where the Horcrux is?

This is what happens when Albus Dumbledore has to relive someone’s worst memory: In a cave with Harry Potter, and whatever horrid thing Voldemort has come up with. This is what Dumbledore saw while drinking the potion.

This was originally written for the March Challenge - Prompt Number Six. I am Ron x Hermione, of Hufflepuff.

Dreams of a Fallen Lotus Petal by Lurid

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: She herself will not cry aloud. She will die inside, but that in itself will not take her closer to her beloved. She is hiding herself in her shoulder, beneath her thick dark hair and drawing in silent breaths of anguish as she presses herself further into the wall. It is her deepest wish to become one with it, for a wall stands for many years and becomes stained with the marks of age.

Lurid of Ravenclaw House, for the Mythology Challenge. Indian Mythology.

He now walks along a deserted highway. He encounters a pair of Muggles, one of them in love with a car, and his girlfriend.

Porcelain Doll by silver_tears

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Pansy had once laughed at those other girls who were obsessed with the way they looked. She now knew that the line separating the normal world from the other – the world no one ever talked about – that line was too thin to be noticed; once she’d trodden beyond that point, there would be no going back.

The road to perfection is too rough to attain and porcelain dolls break from the pressure of it.

A Winter Miracle challenge, written by silver_tears for Slytherin house.

Lycanthropy by Zoheb

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: This 'poem' (For want of a better word) is not so much about 'Harry Potter' as it is about werewolves. But since werewolves are a major part of 'Harry Potter', I suppose that this might have a place here.

This is inspired by Cradle of Filth's 'Her Ghost in the Fog' and Opeth's 'The Baying of the Hounds'. Enjoy, all you sociopaths out there.

[Note; this is a one-shot that I may re-vist and expand upon later.]

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •

What is Andrew willing to do for his sister? How far can he push?

Leaves by Simply Being

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: I would look out into the forest, full of huge lofty trees covered in leafy green foliage, pointing downward as if sensing the rain, and trying with all their might to get as far away as possible from it. It doesn’t really make sense, I used to muse to myself. Why would leaves hide from the rain? Maybe, I decided, because they were afraid; afraid that the thing they loved the most would somehow hurt them, and why bother even taking a chance? Therefore, I had concluded, they pointed downward as far as they could reach.

What if the death of Luna's mother wasn't an accident?

A/N: Thanks so much Kasey, Rachel, and Catrin! Also: This comes with a slight AU warning, it all depends on how you look at it. But, strictly speaking, it does not go against cannon.

Summary:

Everyone tells him it's impossible.

But he knows--he knows--it isn't.

Discord by Lycanthropist

Summary: Pansy Parkinson was not an exact replica of what her parents had always longed for in a daughter, nor was she their endorsement for having made a respectable, consummated marriage. Whether others wanted to believe it or not, she had reasons for the way she looked at the world as she did. She wasn't anybody's little brainwashed, porcelain wind-up doll.

Eggs and Soldiers by SiriuslyMental

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: No one could believe Oswel would be mental enough to go on an actual killing spree. No one could believe five people had died on one day. They're all busy sobbing and blaming themselves, but I'm clever enough to know it's Oswel's fault. It's Oswel's fault, and I don't care.
