It soon becomes clear, however, that not everyone has the same lesson plan in mind for our hero. As the headmistress attempts to lay a clever trap to reveal hidden agendas, Voldemort waits in ambush at the one site that Harry is sure to visit.

An Aversion to Change by Misdemeanor1331

Rated: Professors •
Summary: After his failed attempt on Dumbledore's life, Draco seeks refuge at the Order of the Phoenix. Sent back to Hogwarts with suspicious title of Head Boy, he is forced to share a dormitory with none other than Hermione Granger. A story of compelling intrigue, hidden motives, dangerous secrets, and obvious passion. Animagi, Quidditch, the Order of the Phoenix. Masquerades and riddles. Hate and love. Pleasure and pain. A blend of contradictions that, for two people, makes a truly unforgettable final year. Slow moving D/Hr with plenty of plot.

Brothers & Sisters by ringobeatlesfan4

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

They fight. They argue. They threaten never to speak again. But in the end, it’s all alright. Because they’re brothers and sisters, or at least that’s what it feels like. James, Albus, and Lily Potter are the closest siblings you’d ever find. Rose and Hugo Weasley have their differences, but in the end, they would die for each other. And as for Scorpius Malfoy… he’s unlike anything the others have seen before. But he’s okay… because he saved them on countless occasions.

This is the story of the bonds between siblings, cousins, and friends. It’s the story of forgetting the past to create a brighter future. And it’s the story of learning to let go of the old, and holding on to the new.

As the Dawn Breaks by MerrryD

Rated: Professors •
Summary:

Love.

Love is healing. Love makes the world go ‘round. Love is all you need.

Yeah, okay.

Whoever said that, obviously forgot about the part where it could destroy you, leave you empty and worthless, numb to everything, except the suffocating pain of knowing you aren’t good enough.

Hate.

Hate is strong word. Hate destroys us. Hate is an ugly thing.

Says who?

Sometimes, it’s our hate that drives us. It fuels us, pushing us through the past, forcing us to accept what we have. It gives us a reason to move. It motivates us into action.

Sometimes, hate is all we have.

Lily/Sirius

Summary: Minerva McGonagall is cleaning out Dumbledores office when she stumbles upon a box full of secrets. And what she discovers in the box will change the future of the Wizarding world forever…

Just on another note, most of the warnings above are for a purely just in case situation, and most of the above possible scenarios are not graphic in nature.

Cruel Moon for the Misbegotten by L A Moody

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: Remus Lupin is a man whose bĂȘte noir assumes very real proportions on the night of each full moon. It is a reality that he had accepted for most of his life; forced to reconcile to the limitations of his existence at an early age. Then out of the blue, Nymphadora Tonks waltzes into his life, throwing all his stoic principles into turmoil. But wizarding society’s prejudices against werewolves are so deeply ingrained that even specialized Healers have no choice but to admit that some of the most basic answers are just unavailable. As Remus undertakes a dangerous undercover mission that may help him to find answers among his own brothers, Tonks follows a convoluted trail that will uncover the true nature of hatred buried within the Ministry of Magic itself.

Follow this tale of despair and redemption as it weaves through the bustling boulevards of Rome to the carefree Bohemian sections of London to the austere bones of post-industrialized Britain to the majestic spires of Hogwarts castle. It is a story not presented as a romance, but rather as one man’s journey to hell and back as inspired by Dante’s Divine Comedy.

Serves as a prequel to my other story, Harry Potter and the Hero’s Lament, but either story can be read independently of the other.
