421 Hours by iLuna17

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: 421 hours. That’s how long I spent in hell.

Hell was humid and hot, and was a ten-meter concrete box. It was filled with blackouts, and mind tricks. It was filled with pain. It was filled with memories; so horrid you wish you would die again just to escape it. The only thing hell wasn’t was lonely. The devil was always there to remind me exactly where I was.

Above all, hell was painful. And I couldn’t escape it.

This is a companion piece to All That’s Left. It isn’t completely necessary to read it before this, but I would recommend it.

Twenty Things is a story about finding yourself, your friends, your secrets, and your past, and hacking it all into some sort of future.

A Splendid Fate by hestiajones

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary: One failed photograph, two halved souls, and the numerous, marvellous machinations of destiny.

This story is a multi-functional product of four days' continuous typing and lack of sleep. It serves an entry for the Inaugural Great Hall Cotillion and a standby Birthday Present for Julia/the opaleye. More importantly, it marks my return to fanfiction after two months' hiatus, because that is kind of inhumanly long.

Thanks to Kara for reading the Prologue and motivating me, and Carole for Chipping-on-the-Wye.

DISCLAIMER: J.K.Rowling, I love you for giving me the HP universe, but you are not me and you definitely did not write this.

This story was accidentally deleted, so is being resubmitted ... very very quickly.

SQUEEEEE! High won the Best Next Generation QSQ award. Thank you so much for the everyone who has helped, either by beta'ing or encouraging me.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling. I'm not sure who I am at the moment, but there must be some Arthur Weasley blood in me.

Thank you Natalie (hestiajones) for doing the vast majority of the beta work on this, and Apurva for work on the early chapters

Squish for Natalie, Jess, Kara and Bob for helping me sort this out.

Due to an archive hissy fit regarding any story with a rating about 3rd-5th, I have temporarily lowered the rating on this story. However, I have NOT changed the content. This story is still a 6th-7th. You click at your own risk.
