Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: “Is it true five years have passed since that night? That I have been dead for five years?”

Hermione had known love with Ron. But, now he was married to someone else and Hermione was alone with only her work at the Ministry to keep her busy.

But, when she was asked by Minister Shacklebolt to handle a problem, would Hermione find love with someone from her past?

Sirius Black’s life was cut short when he fell through the Veil in the Department of Mysteries. But, somehow, he inadvertently found a way to come back through the Veil.

When he was told it was five years after he fell, Sirius didn’t believe Kingsley. Sirius found himself being held in a room in the Department of Mysteries. A prisoner again.

When the door opened and a grown-up Hermione walked through it, Sirius was stunned. How could this be the same girl he had known?

This is the story of a lost girl, a man back from the dead, and a love story that will be talked about for years.

But his friends have other ideas.

Disclaimer: I most definitely am not JK Rowling.

Another Disclaimer: All the chapter titles are named after films. I didn't star, write or direct any of them. And there's a good few I haven't even seen.

Safe and Sound by welshdevondragon

Rated: 6th-7th Years • Past Featured Story
Summary:

“I
am real. And if I wasn’t, I wouldn’t let you wake up.”

The Ravenclaw boy and the mad, quiet Slytherin girl.

Inspired by the Taylor Swift and Civil Wars song Safe and Sound.

This is a slightly belated birthday present for the wonderful Jess/ToBeOrNotToBeGryffindor. She is someone I feel very lucky to call a friend, and hope she has a fantastic year.

Nominated for the 2012 Best Non-Canon Romance and Best Dark/Angsty Quicksilver Quills.

Snap by Eleanor Lupin

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:

Miriam

that's such a pretty name

I'm gonna smile when

you say goodbye...

Narcissa Malfoy is a balanced person. She does not fly off the handle, she does not overreact.

But sometimes things happen. And sometimes people snap.

The song lyrics in this are from Miriam by Norah Jones. Big thank you to Alice/theblacksister, my awesome beta!

Sweet Transvestite by welshdevondragon

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary:
How else would he ever be able to stand in front of his father in fishnets, six inch heels, a short black dress and make up?

Hugo Weasley has a secret, and he doesn’t want his father to find out. However, he may have no say in the matter.

This story is written for lucca4/Ariana who is a wonderful writer and was lovely and enthusiastic about the December Drabble that prompted this idea. This story does, surprisingly, contain discussion of and mention of transvestism. Since that’s not an official warning, I thought it worth mentioning.

This is welshdevondragon of Gryffindor writing for the Fiendish Firsties Great Hall School of Mischief challenge. The title is from the song Tim Curry sings in The Rocky Horror Picture Show.

Sirius by Gwen Evens

Rated: 6th-7th Years •
Summary: This is Gwen Evens of Gryffendor submitting my entry for Rosmerta's Mini-Gauntlet being held in The Three Broomsticks over at the MNFF beta boards.

His life basically.

Live, Laugh, Love, Pain, Fear, Sorrow, Life!

Sticking Together by iLuna17

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: During the reign of the Carrows, Dumbledore's Army fought against them. The D.A. also had each others' backs, no matter what happened. But it wasn't always that way. It took a fourth-year, a little black book, and a plan the size of Hogwarts itself to make the D.A. realize their only chance of survival lied with each other.

This is iMusic17 of Slytherin writing for the Outstanding OWL's prompt in the School of Mischief Challenge in the Great Hall.

Seasonal Suffering by DoraeAzure

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: When Hermione falls in love with her red-haired best friend, she comes to realize that holidays are no help at all. Features secret agent Hermione (theme song included!), semi-psychotic Ginny, smugly smirking Harry, Quidditch kit Ron, snowball fights, breaking and entering, presents, stolen clothes, owl poop, broken platters and a truly spectacular hexing of Malfoy.

Sleeping Beauty's Kiss by armagod679

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: As she walks to her end, Mary remembers a different kiss.

Shadows Deep by Equinox Chick

Rated: Professors •
Summary: Behind the walls of Hogwarts, deep in the shadows, lurk the secrets of the Founders. Of one mind, at first, their legacy came close to crashing down when two locked horns.

With Helga Hufflepuff determined to disband the Houses and admit anyone, Salazar knows he has to keep the other two on side. But Godric is distracted ... and soon Salazar is, too.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling and I'm not as old as the Founders.

I am, however, Equinox Chick and this is my entry into the School of Mischief Challenge for the Great Hall.

Thank you Natatatatatatatattatatattatatat (hestiajones) for beta'ing this and to Karador (Karaley Dargen) for letting me moan when it collapsed on me.

Winner of the Best Chaptered SSP award in the 2012 QSQ's. Yippeeeee!

Sirius Black by hestiajones

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary:
An attempt to answer the question "Who is Sirius Black?"

Written for the Iain Sharp Challenge at Poetry Anyone(?).

Sweet by Equinox Chick

Rated: 3rd-5th Years •
Summary: Susan Bones is always getting mixed up with her best friend, Hannah Abbott. She doesn't know why because not only do they look very different, but their tastes are different, too - even down to the flavours of their lip balm. For sunny, popular Hannah loves to try new things, and Susan stays with the same lip balm she's always known.

But perhaps she should try something new.

Disclaimer: I am not JK Rowling.

This story has been written for Lea (mugglegirlmarauder) on the occasion of her birthday. Although she is a Gryffindor here, Pottermore begs to differ and has wisely put her in Hufflepuff.

Thank also to Natalie (hestiajones) for the pairing and the lip balm. I'm not sure the story quite does your inspiration justice :(.

Survivor's Hymn by ToBeOrNotToBeAGryffindor

Rated: 1st-2nd Years •
Summary: After the last spell flashes and the day is won, hope can be found in the subtlest ticking of the clock, the softest note, the tiniest slant of light.

Thus ended the Battle of Hogwarts and began for those left to carry on.

This poem has been nominated for a 2012 Quicksilver Quill Award: Best Poetry.
