Ah this has been a pretty good year. I'm really happy that I've found MNFF and began writing again. I plan to write my way into college, or at least I hope! :]

Can we still update our stories without submitting new chapters? My new story got accepted the day the queue closed, and it formatted incorrectly, so now I'm getting tons of reviews like "This was hard to read" ect, ect, and I know I'm losing reviews, so I'd like to reformat it and send it in, but I can't.

I submitted a story way just before the queue closed, and it's been deleted, without being moderated, i assume as you don't start again til the 2nd. Why?
Actually, the same thing happend to me as TheDogStar and I sent my fanfiction in on the 12th/13th of December.

TheDogStar and gryffinarrow04, if your stories disappeared from the queue and were submitted prior to December 23rd, it probably means that you just did not receive the rejection letter. You should probably make a post in the "I didn't get a rejection letter" thread on the Boards.
Aw, that makes me sad. I had a really good story I was about to write, and I will forget it! Whatever, though. I Wish Happy Holidays to the staff on Mugglenet, I'm sure they've been working hard all year. I sure do hope you keep it up in 2007! Happy Holidays, everybody!

Bertybottaholic, you can write up your story before submission, which is suggested, and save it on your computer.
Lily Roxy, some submissions may slip into the queue due to the way the program is. As for the updates in the recent stories section, those are stories being moderated and approved. Those stories were in the queue prior to December 23rd and are being moderated by those mods who are still able to work in the queue over the holidays.
Why hasn't my winter challange entry been validated? I submited it a month ago.
Peppermint123: I'm sure I've addressed this elsewhere. Your story is not in the queue. There has never been a major backlog in that category.
Okay, my story that's been in que forever got accepted. Now I need to add another warning to it (AU) but my computer won't let me. Is it the que thing or my cookies? MJ
MJ: It's a queue thing. You can't edit your story when the queue is closed because all the categories and such are locked, and making changes to them for any fic, validated or not, makes the system think you're submitting a new story.
I am so glad I found MNFF this year! What a fabulous site. I have enjoyed my experience here tremendously - I have learned so much, and had a lot of fun.
