I don't see why we can't submit our stories into more then one category. But, in this case, I won't fight the power and submit my stories into more then 1 category :]. But I would like to know why we can't do that. But I agree with Kerichi, unless you are colorblind, you should be able to see the BIG BOLD text. So, I guess I am kinda nuetral in this case.
Kerichi, while changing the wording from 'submit to' to 'published in' might make sense for some authors, it may not make sense to the new authors, whom we seem to have more problems with when it comes to submitting to multiple categories. If they're not clear on the submitting to only one category part when it says 'submit to', changing the wording to 'published in' won't help.
Vivvie, the reasons multiple category submissions aren't allowed has been stated in other responses by other mods already. The two main reasons are that multiple category submissions usually span the bounds of two categories handled by different mods and that allowing multiple category submissions would make the organization of the site practically ineffectual and useless.
