Deathly Hallows is a few short days away, as is the (temporary) closing of our queue. Therefore, and in light of this being such an intensely emotional time for devout HP fans, we here at MuggleNet Fan Fiction feel rather compelled to say something wise and profound for your comfort. As such, we leave you to embark on this one final ride with Harry armed with the most significant words we, or anyone, could ever utter:

Nitwit! Blubber! Oddment! Tweak!

And may Merlin, like our thoughts and condolences, be with you.

i can't believe it
it's actually coming
after all the years of waiting
all the tears and laughs
triumphs and failures
the end is finally here
it's just so hard to believe
but i think that i'm not alone in saying
i'm gonna cry my eyes out once it's done
but that's thing

Im amazed its coming to an end as well, its been many long harry potter filled years that have been so wonderful and to see it all end is so sad. but of course those devoted harry potter fans out there will never stop reading the books and will never forget the harry potter gang. thank you for providing a place to express our feelings and share our stories about this amazing series

''One final ride with Harry...'' What a fabulous way to put it, it truly is like a really excellent rollercoaster, isn't it? While the thrill is always there every time you ride, and it will always be your favorite no matter how tall every new coaster gets, its still never quite the same as that first breathtaking ride. I know better than to think that I am the only person who can't imagine their childhood without him, I was in the second grade when I read Sorcerer's Stone. It's been an excellent ride, one I'm sure to take again and again for the rest of my life, but I'll never forget this first run-through, an unheard of literary phenomenon, or the people, most of whom I don't even know, that I was apart of it with. And I'm sure, that on July 21, millions of people, hidden in their rooms under the covers, will, perhaps not raise their glasses, but at the very least, open their books and think of the first thing they read in the first book and, reguardless of the outcome of DH, say to themselves,''To Harry Potter, the boy who lived.''

It's been a great ride guys, one that I will never forget. Good luck!

It's incredible to think that it's coming out in just a mere two days. More so than that, but also that it's like the end. I mean, this series has been around for the longest time (okay, so like seven or eight years), but it's caught the world up by storm.

So here are just a few things to remember that I've been telling myself as a condolence for the end of this incredible series.

First, yes, fanfiction will always be here. It's a cushion for those that need it, and a place where we can let it all out. The series may end, but the stories will never get old. There will always be another take on the story, another avenue to explore, another character to develop. Additionally, post-gen fics can always be written, as can Marauder era, and everything else.

Second, there are still two movies. Breathe people, breathe. It will continue. :)

Third, this is just a bit of a reality check people: series come and go. Harry Potter is a huge series, but so was LOTR, right? I mean, those books ended too. So did Chronicles of Narnia. People survive. You will too. :)

Fourth, and finally...Let's take ourselves back to The first book. We're in the hospital wing, and Dumbledore is telling Harry that Nicholas Flamel will die because the Stone has been destroyed. Our favorite headmaster says to Harry, that after that long life, death for Flmael and his wife was just like going to bed after a really long day. That's how I view this series. Once it's over, it's over, but we're so glad that we read it. I'm glad that I was on the ride, and now I find peace in coming off of it. The series will always remain in our hearts; we will always remember it as the story that swept us off our feet, that had us fall in love, that made us cry, that made us laugh, and that made us throw those damn books at the wall sometimes! So, people, have faith, and remember:

Don't cry because it's over. Smile because it happened.

*sniff* And to think that I feared I might be the only person randomly bursting into tears this past week at the thought of the DH release... *huggles* You guys have been such an emotional support to me; I've learned so much about writing better; I've made better friends here than I've ever had in real life, and now... it's good to know that you guys feel the same way: Harry Potter will not die! <3 Love you all!

You guys just really blasted home how close we really are to the end!!! What are we going to do?

I really can't wait to find out what happens but at the same time I may just try to stretch out my 1 day read of the new book to 3 or 4 days so that I can spend a bit more time with the Trio!!!!!!

i'm very excited, terrified, nervous, and sad at the same time. i've only been a HP fan for about a year and a half...it's all gone by so quickly! i can't wait for the new book...it's so close!

I'm so sad right now. Whatever happens to Harry, promise me that you will all keep writing fan fiction. Promise me!! I can wait for the book. I don't my favorite characters to die!

Those words truly touch my heart. Its hard to believe that after reading these books for half my life (8 years), It's all coming to an end. This site has been awesome too, with something to read when i feel as though I need more potter-ness. Thanks for the words, and Enjoy reading the book yourself. Thanks, of course, to the wonderful J.K. Rowling, for without her, I doubt I would never have loved reading as much as I do. -Snowless.

Wow.
I got the first two books for my seventh birthday, and since then it's just been a magical rollercoaster. Can't believe it's all over now. Seven years... how appropriate...
