Indigoenigma, it's not your computer. I'm having the same problem. I tried logging out and logging back in (and clearing the cookies on my computer) and it still says the category is locked. Is there something else you have to do?
Logging out and clearing your cookies should solve the problem.If it doesn;t work once, try it gain. The cats are definatley unlocked because we are getting submissions.
Found the problem. You should be able to submit in any category now.
Marauders Era still doesn't work, the other subcategories do. Maybe it's just my computer.

I've done the same as Indioenigma, and the catergories are still blocked. Has the problem been identified yet?
All the categories are unlocked. I've just tested submissions with my own account and with a dummy account and I can submit to Marauder's Era using both. We also have some stories sitting in the queue for that category, amongst others, so the cat is definately unlocked. Sometimes, when the site is updated, it does take some patience and fiddling about with your cache and cookies. If you use AOL or Safari the problem can be made worse by these two browsers (although in this instance it worked fine for me on AOL). What error message do you get when you try to submit?
Also, and this is for people who haven't used the site before to submit) make sure that when you click on the main category, you then re-click on the drop down menu to uncover the sub categories. We have had a couple of fics submitted to master cats like romance, which is not a category for submission.
*giggles* Nope Stacey, not a glitch...that was me! I accidentally hit validate before I clicked on the yes letter, and it was gone! I figured you at least wouldn't be TOO upset since it got validated not rejected. :-) *is out of practice after the queue closing*

Um...I tried and it still says that the category is locked. I also tried random categories (such as poetry and mystery) and they're all locked too!
Maybe it's my computer. Grrr....
