I've got a question and I don't want to submit until its answered so I don't do it wrong (it makes me so very nervous!!) Anyways, lets say I've started writing a fic that is set after HBP and would therefore disregard DH, but after reading DH I wish to include SOME elements in my own work. Would I put both the DB7 and DH spoilers warning?? Or...what would I do??

LaNay, that's quite a question. Probably you'd be best off waiting until Aug. 1, when spoilers are all right, and then putting it in as an AU category with DH spoiler warning. Right now there seems to be a lot of call for Harry Potter and the Alternate Ending, so your fic would probably find readers with that combination.

Just a question... when exactly DOES Aug. 1st occur... like, in what time zone? As it's 9:12 PM where I am (Pacific time) it's not yet Aug. 1 but in the East of North America it is... so is it considered Aug. 1 for everyone or just the East? So is the East allowed to submit DH spoiler stories but the West still has to wait three hours?

We generally use Eastern Standard Time in the United States as a guideline. As such, it is now August 1. Make sure you attach the appropriate warnings or your story will be rejected.
What do we do about fics that are DH compliant up until the Epilogue? I think we may see a lot of that from ships other than H/G and R/Hr... Would those go in DH disregarded AND DH spoliers, or do we label them AU?
timestep: Nope. Not going to happen. That's why we have an Alternate Universe category. As Magical Maeve and other moderators have stated, you will need to attach the appropriate DH-related warnings to any stories that contain DH spoilers or disregard the book entirely.
