Last year's awards had been a success, and MuggleNet Fan Fiction moderators have decided to hold the Quicksilver Quills 2007, or QSQs 2007.
For those of you who were not with us last year, the Quicksilver Quills is our way of honouring outstanding stories, authors, reviewers, betas, and artists.
There will be seventeen categories this year in which you can win an award in. Rules and further information will be posted in our beta forums in about a week's time.

Nominations will open on September 1, 2007 and close September 14, 2007. Winners will be announced on October 31, 2007.
Until then, start thinking about who and what should be nominated!
What category would a Lucius/Narcissa Romance one-shot go in?
Ginny Potter101 - That is canon. From the books, we see that Lucius and Narcissa were actually married.

spike312 : Yes, there is. You can ask a bannermaker to make you a bannermaker to put on your bio. It can attract the readers' attention, and can even draw them to reading the fic. Hope that I helped!

spike312 - Banners only help if you have a beta forum username. A good way would be to just update your story often.
Ginny Potter101 - Doesn't matter if characters die. It's still canon. James/Lily died, yes? It all depends on what your story focuses on. Maybe it's not a romance.
Specific questions, ie questions that pertain only to you, should be privately asked and handled with a moderator. Email or PM via the beta boards are acceptable modes of communication regarding personal, specific questions.
I know spike312 already asked if there is a way to advertise fics. But is there a way to advertise art?

Ummm... Marauder by Midnight, sorry to be a pain in the Pygmy Puff tattoo, but you answered my question as though I was talking about romance (saying that it would be "Non-Canon"). I just wanted to know if I could nominate Magorian for "Best Male Other Character." Well... um... can I? ^_^

Hermione Clone, yes, you need to be on the beta boards to nominate. Entries will be judged by a panel. No voting at this time. :-)
