I just tried to submit a story. I recieved a message that the catagory was locked. I am guessing this means thatthe Queue is full.

The queue's full? Into which category did you try to submit your story, potterfan48? And those mean hackers! They really don't have anything to do, do they? If they get Mugglenet shut down I will absolutely cry because it's my favourite site to hang around when I'm on the computer. Plus I look forward to coming here from morning till I actually come here. Haha. Hope everything's fine now. A belated happy new year to everyone! (:

potterfan48 - As far as I know, the queue can't get full. It just keeps growing. :) Try clearing your cookies. It should fix your problem.

DaniDM - I've never heard of that problem before. Again, try clearing your cookies and if it doesn't work, contact me (you can find my staff email on my profile) and we'll try to sort it out for you.

Mugglenet is now up again. :) No mean hackers can stop us. Thank you for your support.

I have the same problem as potterfan48. I tried to submit a poem under "general" and then under "poetry" but a message from internet explorere came up saying "this catergory is locked. please select a sub-catergory." What can I do?

Clearing cookies should help; make sure you're only clicking "Select" on your final choice, too, not on the supercategory. But give the repairers a little time; the hacker seems to have messed things up thoroughly.

Again, try deleting your cookies. If it doesn't work, contact me at Rosie@fanfiction.mugglenet.com

how do you delete cookies? I don't know much about the internet.

Hey, I'm really glad to see Mugglenet up and running again!
It's a shame the hackers came and ruined everyone's party...I was so lonesome without my mugglenet, but cheers to all who are helping to get things back in order! :0)

I agree with moonstargazer. I was going through Mugglenet withdrawel. It was terrible. Anyway, I'm am really glad it's back up!

It won't even let me attempt to post fan fiction, it says all catagories are locked!

That's as thorough of a guide as I can go without writing an essay. If you're using something entirely different, just use Google; you'll find your answer somewhere :)
