Never mind...I undestand now. They were all upset about the losses! Don't worry, I figured it out! No need to respond. Again, wonderful job!

Author's Response: hehe... well read merlani's fic anyway, because it is brilliant and you will understand it even more! Thank you again!

I really liked the intensity portrayed in this piece of work. It was wonderful~ However, I don't understand why Hermione and Ron were filled with so much pain in the beginning of this one-shot! Let me know what happened! Great job! Your work should be be applauded!

Author's Response: Thank you so very much!! If you would like to know where all this came from, read

Author's Response: read "never invisible to me" from merlani... it will explain what you are looking for!

awwww that was so cute! except all those losses they kept talking about, but i thought it was a very good ron/hermione fic!

Author's Response: Thank you... i know the losses are sad... but it is war and it is harsh. But it did bring out the emotion as well.

Wow!
That definitely had me holding my breath the entire time. It was brilliant. I love the angst you wrote into Hermione. At first it's not obvious who is crying, and it's just like you're there feeling it yourself.

I love how you switched POV's. =]

Great job!
~mugglemathdork/Knight of the Turnip Table

Author's Response: I am glad because you picked up the two main factors of the story. 1) the fact that i did not use their names besides when each character addressed the other (to increase the readers awareness) and 2) the switching of point of views. I did this more to show that everyone is feeling seperate emotions, even thouhg the pain and shock is all the same. Thank you for your kind words!

Hey, guess what? Your sister told me to read your fan fic, so I did :). It was so good! Ron and Hermione are by far my favorite couple in the series and your characterizations of them were right on. And I might have cried just a little bit... *pushes up dorky glasses* :P.
- Allie

Author's Response: Hey Allie! Thanks so much for your responce! I know how serious about HP you are, so a response about Ron and Hermione like that from you means so much to me!! Thanks again for reading and responding! (now get to writing something of your own, so i can read and respond!! ;o) Thanks again!

I don't often read romance fics, but I'm very glad I read this one. Being a somewhat musical person myself, I've always believed in the power of music to help people get through hard times. It's very easy to see Molly singing to her children when they were little; it seems like the sort of thing she would do. You've done a wonderful job of keeping true to canon while still making the characters and story your own.
The only thing I wondered about was the circumstances of the deaths...did Hermione actually see them die or just receive the news? A reference to it a little earlier in the story might help strengthen the context.
All in all, this was a really wonderful story. I loved the line towards the end: "Her son...and now her daughter..." It and the lines following it ended the story perfectly.
Sincerely,
Doctor Phoenix of Ravenclaw, Knight of the Turnip Table

Author's Response: Thank you so very much! Being a fan of the romantic fics, I have seen many different plots and ideas put forth. And I must say, after a while, the old saying "You read one, you've read them all" begins to apply (with no offence to the romantic writers whatsoever. I enjoy reading all of them, even if i have read the storyline before. I would not keep coming back time and again if i did not.). I tried, with this story, to break that trend. It is quite hard! Much thought and effort, and especially personal emotion went into this fic. I asked myself: what would i feel if... and it was painfully difficult for me. But I think that is what made it work so well. As far as the circumstances of the deaths, I must leave that credit to Merlani yet again. I HIGHLY recomend her fic, as that is where this inspiration originated from. I could understand how one would not truely understand the circumstances of their death without reading her sotry. Though, i also did that intentionally. That was also why the reader did not find out who the characters were untill midway through the story. I left it up to them to interpret and feel before allowing them the true knowledge. Thank you again so very much. The kind words of the reader are are the best reward a writer can achieve!!!

this is awesome,im crying so hard, the emotions r put down really well. herm.s parents died?

Author's Response: thank you so much. Yes her parent have died. If you see my note at the top of the page, the scene is inspired by a part of a fiction by the writer Merlani. Some actions in her story inspired this scene. Thank you again for your kind words!!

I don't about you other people but I was bawling my eyes out in the end!!! you are an absolutely brilliant writer and in this story you really showed the meaning of true love between two people. I loved it!! *sniff*

Author's Response: Wow....! Well I am really at a loss for words after this review! I dont think i could ever thank you enough for those kind words! It was very hard for me to write this... because i could not put myself into Hermione's shoes (nor would i want to.) I just believed that if anything would destroy her, it would be the death of her parents. (And i do have to credit Merlani for putting the idea and her initial few reactions into my head) As far as showing the meaning of love... well i just wrote what i believe. And like i said... that song still warms my heart to this day. Thank you agian, so much, for taking the time to leave me this fantistic review... and if you have a chance, i do recomend Merlani's fic "Never invisible to me" if you want a very different and unique fic.

Oh, this was lovely! One of those rare things that are sad, but still leave you with that warm, fuzzy feeling inside!

Author's Response: heehee! thanks a lot! I really like that responce! Ya thats what the song allways did for me. Even to this day when i think about it i still get that fuzzy feeling! Every time!! Thanks again!

i loved it. it was so careing, and sweet. i also love the sincerity, and how it was taken from a real experience. it also flowed very well.

Author's Response: Thanks very much. Ya the part about the song just kinda happened. It wasnt really the plan when i started writing the plot... it just kinda fit right in. :o) As far as the flow, that is one of the things i nitpick to DEATH. I cant stand stories that dont follow a natural flow... like a conversation. I also have my beta to thank for this as well. He made the continuity even better without effecting the final result in the least. Thanks again for your kind comments!

Hey cool, you got this up! Well I already told you how good it was (very good if you don't remember). I'll talk to you later.

Author's Response: Thanks Drake! (Now stop reading and get back to writing!) Im just kidding! Every good write deserves a break to read every once in a while! ;o) Thanks again.

That was so sad and beautifully written.Ron is a pillar of strength and able to comfort Hermione in times of need.Touching and romantic....Full marks!!!

Author's Response: thanks so much for your review! Ya Ron usually isnt that kind of pillar of strength... but i wanted to paint him in a different light for a change! Thanks again!

this was wonderful! you captured the moment so perfectly! =D

you should be proud of yourself.

*pats on back*

Author's Response: i am proud that i figured out that i love to write. (I have to owe the majority of that to JK for bringing that out of me, because i hated it wen i was younger!). I tried to be realistic... and the story was the result. Thank you for your praise.

What can I say? I think the concept alone is brilliant, and lovely. You know I have a certain affinity for this kind of thing, so, you already got me on your side there. But then the execution is done with a rare grace and style. You really feel both Ron and Hermione's pain in the first half, and that stream of consciousness from Molly in the second half, quite brilliant. I favor dialogue a lot of the time, so when I see someone able to convey that much emotion without a word being said, I'm pretty much dead impressed. Very well done, and I hope you continue to write.

Author's Response: Thank you Grimrook. As i have said before, to see a writer of your calibur say things like that means more to me then i can put into words.
