What a lovely lovely story :) Harry/Ginny is probably the only canon ship I read and both characters were really in character. I really like how you said Ginny looked like Mrs. Weasley, as there are a few times in the books that that is mentioned. I also love how Harry's proposal wasn't neat and tidy, reminds me of his Quidditch days where none of his saves were smooth. I JUST REALIZED I KNOW THE COMMERCIAL!!!! Haha.

The last line is absolutely adorable. I hate fluff, but this is an a really cute fic and I highly enjoyed it.

Oh Ariiii! You already got a ton of reviews, but it can never be enough for such a lovely story. This is not going to be a particularly eloquent review, just a lot of fuzzyhearted blabberdiblab.

This was just SO lovely. Of course it was clear all the time that he was going to propose, but it was so funny to watch Ginny go mad! I purely admire how you've woven all this stuff into a relatively short oneshot – their relationship, their past, Ginny's concern about Harry, the thoughts that Harry has obviously been having, and the characterisation of the two... (seriously, the characterisation is just brilliant. Ginny is spot on, and I loved how she keeps calling him a pig, haha; and Harry... well - you made him look hot without even describing his looks.)

All this stuff is just hinted at, yet it doesn't need more than a hint to understand it all. You don't give this giant page-long backstory, but still I feel like I've just known the two of them through all this time. Even though it's not written down here, it feels as though we were there for all these memories (and now I'm an implied pig..). This is just the most wonderful way to write such a story there (in my opinion) is.

And then it comes to the last couple of paragraphs, and they just broke my heart, but instantly mended it again with a giant load of fluff-paste =D

Just to imagine how much it has to pain Harry to think of Godric's Hollow.. I never really thought of this (surprisingly); James and Sirius going to the pub together, Lily going to meet a neighbour, the two of them taking a late-night stroll... and then it's all taken away... that's just unfair! But Harry isn't stupid. The ending, and the last line especially were just the tip of the brilliant, beautiful, amazing, fluffy iceberg.

This was such a lovely (could I use that word more often in tis review?) story from beginning to end. It gave a really clear picture of their lives up to this point in this snapshot fashion that I really admire here.

Wriiiite moooore fluuuuff! I'll go review your other fluff story soon =D

Oh wow, I loved this. Pure fluff to make me feel all nice :)

I can totally see Harry doing something like this, and I thought Ginny's reaction to not knowing what was going on was good and in character.

I love the fact that he proposed to her in Godric's Hollow, and the speech about wanting to begin his own life. Love!!

Ah, this is definitely a piece of well-appreciated fluff. I don't doubt for a second that Harry would do something like this, and I'm all about the canon.

Well done!

Something I had noticed, forgot to mention: He took her chin in his hands and looked at her for a moment, from her blazing green eyes to her soft, freckled cheeks, and smiled widely.
Are you refering to Ginny's eyes as being 'green'?

Author's Response: Ah, I always go to green rather than brown; she looks like Lily in my mind and it's easy to forget she isn't a carbon copy. Thanks again. ;)

Oh, that was fluffy goodness that I adore.

I love it when men get all secretive and mysterious...and sexy and sweet. *Sigh* This was all of that and I totally loved it. I don't know how helpful I'll be, as I thought it wasn't overdone and that both Harry and Ginny were in character, but I love this stuff.

I thought it was fairly predictable, but it didn't take away from the enjoyableness of reading it, if that makes sense. Harry wasn't gushing how Ginny's hair lit a fire in his heart, Ginny wasn't crying (and she didn't figure it out)...it just felt real. Maybe because I could kind of picture myself responding in that situation. Not we've-just-ended-a-terrible-war-and-you've-gone-off-the-deep-end, but not trusting the boyfriend/husband to keep dragging me everywhere and be nagging/making sarcastic comments the whole time. And it helped keep the narrative moving and the fluff from being over powering.

The last line was great. I liked the repetition throughout (like him nodding and in Godric's Hollow) and the fact the certain information was slowly known to us - you jumped right into the story.

I'm eating my lunch at work, and I couldn't think of a better way to have spent it. :)

I'm thinking, 'It's where you would say yes' might work better as the last line, but it's your choice. Nice story though. The ending was particularly good and the memorable part. Feeling a bit torn to see that you didn't heed any of our posts when you asked whether Harry would rebuild the Godrics Hollow cottage ;) but no worries. It turned out very well. For fluff, I mean. Hope you're back from the writer's block smoothly and quickly.

-Akay-

Author's Response: Oh, this wasn't anything to do with their rebuilding, it just happens that he wanted to propose there. Thank you for the review. :)

I want to cry, really. i always love to think about what would have happened, and like the reason we are all here to make our own stories, i have my own verson of how the weddding went and all, so now for me, this is how Harry poposed. Thank you, btw the whole bit about Ginny's bed and Harry being a pig, hysterical.

Oh my goodness, Ari, what a sweet story! I absolutely love Ginny's confusion, countered by Harry's determination to pull her through all the landmarks in their relationship whether she likes it or not. So cute!

Yes, I realise this is a very gushing review, but what other kind of review is appropriate for a fluffly one-shot? :P
