*wipes tears*

This was a beautiful, touching poem, dear. The emotion inside its words is so entirely piercing and heart wrenching. Throughout the entire thing, I was just amazed at the complexity and the truth to the words. Like here:

And you move slowly, small steps that evade fate,
Because there is, you know, more to this than grey
Pelts of rain and drear and sorrow come late
In the startling design of a rainbow midday.

It’s entirely beautiful imagery, but the truth and the complexness of the ideas behind the imagery really make this stanza, as well as the poem, shine in its brilliance. The way that this stanza serves as the turning point in the poem when the angle shifts to the lighter side of the views, to optimism, brings a nice balance to the flow overall, and sets the reader up for the ending.

And now the ending – it was beautiful. That’s really all I can say that this poem is: beautiful. The concept is unique and original and touches the reader’s heart no matter who they may be, and I applaud you for writing such a lovely, caring piece.

Amazing job.
