I kind of forgot about Kreacher--I like the idea that he's still around helping out the Potters, willing to be a little uncomfortable if it makes happy someone who's perpetually nice to him.
I've also always liked how you portray Lily Luna, because it fits her well: the same disregard for rules as her father mixed with a taint of youngest-sibling jealousy but the simultaneous innocence of a sheltered child, which I think she most certainly would have been. All the adults she knows fought in a war, it's natural to feel overprotective, and they've such a big family that even though I'm not making sense this fic does and the point is, I like it a lot.

I can't believe I read this two weeks ago and didn't have time to review. Work is getting in the way of my favorite leisure activities. Well, work and my stupid health issues. Also, Mecca continues to be quite the handful. If he'd been the first dog instead of the fifth he'd be an only dog, if you know what I mean. Anyway, I loved this story. It shows the history between Lily and Kreacher. I love seeing Kreacher as the lovable grandfather type. He's come a long way from the cranky, devious House-elf that JKR first portrayed. My very favorite part was the discussion over the Muggle newspaper. I suppose the non-moving Muggle pictures could be somewhat disturbing to a magical child. This story was an unexpected surprise which made me love it all the more. See you next time.

Author's Response: I'm happy you came back to leave a review! Kreacher isn't a popular character, but I like to think he's reformed, and very much a doting granddad figure for Lily, although Harry and Ginny might wish he was a little less doting, hehheh.

Aww, I love the way Kreacher and Lily get on so well! He's a totally different elf than the one from the book, for the better! Lily is characterised so well, you just seem to know exactly how to do it! Awesome story! From, the ever impressed, Ghoul!

Author's Response: Thank you! Kreacher is kind to those who are kind to him, so I think he would be very much changed after years of living with Harry and Ginny. Lily loves him most, so she gets special treatment, hehheh.
