That was a good ending. Sometimes those are he hardest parts to write. I enjoyed this story. It gave us a glimpse at what it may have been like if the four friends had lived. That was a great punishment for Harry.

Author's Response: I'm so relieved you liked the ending! I agonized about how to end it and for a while I just kind of ignored it. Most of it was actually already written, but I just kept wanting going when I knew it was long enough. Then one day it hit me and I knew what I wanted to do so the ending was written and posted. I got the idea of a no Voldemort world from another story, but everything else was me.

Yeah, I'm not sure Sirius is the best person to deal with Harry. I don't know how the Marauders can talk. They pulled a lot of pranks that were ven more serious than what Harry seems to be doing. Teenage boys are just hard to deal with but they all grow up in time.

Author's Response: I know several people who weren't the most well-behaved in their youth but have turned out fine now. And I think the element of becoming a parent and finding you have a lot more responsibilities could have really opened up their eyes.

I did enjoy this first chapter. It's funny to wonder how it would be if James and Lily had lived and Harry didn't have to grow up with such serious things on his mind and instead grew up to be a hooligan.

Author's Response: Like father, like son was what I was thinking. Only James doesn't quite seem to like that idea.
