Stages of Grief by Eliza Lupin
Author's Notes:
This is my first poem.
They say grief is temporary I know it's not How can it if half of myself has died ? And the rest is left to rot.
The darkness I see is suffocating I cannot see light through my eyes I lie and I say that I'm fine But she sees the pain through my smiles.
Don't hate me dear brother for loving her And letting her see the real me But she helps me live and she helps me laugh And I know now I don't need to grieve.
For all though I miss you dearly The pain is easier to bare And the pain in my chest feels lighter But in my heart, you'll always be there.
End Notes:
The 'She' George talks about is Angelina ... But im sure you gathered that.
