Prologue by Elarinya
Imagine a world of magic,
Beyond the world you see,
Imagine a place that's hid'n away
Where wizards and witches meet.

Within this world, there was a wizard
Seeking for power so great.
He was so evil and powerful
That ev'ryone feared his name.

Imagine that time of evil,
When ev'ryone lived in fear,
When nobody trusted anyone
Until the eleventh year.

The Dark Lord's taking over -
He gained some followers.
And those who wouldn't join with him
Would suffer an awful fate.

Then, one night, he came to the Potters
In the Hollow, seeking to kill them.
Lily and James both died in the attack
And then, he turned to their son.

What later happened just can't be explained -
He couldn't kill the little boy.
You-Know-Who's pow'rs were then destroyed.
And so, he fled and was not seen again.

No one has ever survived such a curse
Like that of Lord Voldemort.
Little did the boy know that
This would make him a legend
And he'd be forever known as:
Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived.
