1. Sonnet for the Moon by Zetera

Sonnet for the Moon by Zetera
A/N: The first two lines are from William Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice".

"All that glisters is not gold,
Often have you heard that told,"
Fortune's fickle hand doth chide,
Eager outsets, in dust I hide.
Broken soul; tears it doth shed,
Empty hurt, breaks like lead,
Upon a back broken thrice before,
Despair beckons, I can take no more,
Letting slip through ice cold black,
A tunnel's end I clearly lack.
The broken bones a full moon doth bring,
Bear no resemblance, as hands I wring,
When I laugh, I smile, a new day dawns,
Bitter despair curls up and yawns.

R. J. Lupin

A/N: Please review to let me know what you think, I love people's opinions - no matter what! Can you believe there are some evil people out there that just read and run?
