1. You're Not Alone by GryffindorGoddess

You're Not Alone by GryffindorGoddess

You’ve faced each day with so much courage,

Endured sixteen years of pain.

Sometimes your hurt seems too much to bear,

Still a hero’s heart you maintain.

*

Your life has brought you hardship,

And you may question your existance.

But opening up to just one friend,

Is so much better than resistance.

*

You may think that you’re alone,

And that no one can relate.

But to you my friend I offer this:

With honesty, it’s never too late.

*

Our world is filled with hate and trouble,

And things we can’t control.

But take a step back and look at your hand,

Before you lay down the cards to fold.

*

Your life is so very beautiful,

And your soul is just the same.

There’ve been way to many sleepless nights,

To think war is just a game.

*

So when reality hits full force,

And your thoughts are free to roam,

Before you do something you’ll regret,

Just remember you’re not alone.

a/n: so I had some major formatting issues that ticked me off, and this is the best way I knew how to fix it--sorry for the double space between each line, I know it's annoying.
