Remus the Werewolf by slytheringal
Summary: A little one-shot poem thing about Remus Lupin after the full moon. OK, maybe it's not a one-shot! I decided I just had to write more! Poor Remy!

Remus the Werewolf by slytheringal
Worn-out and dirty,
Tired and hurt,
Remus the werewolf,
Lies broken in the dirt.

No one to save him,
No one to care for.
Why pick himself up?
Why live anymore?

Shattered and broken,
Bitten and maimed,
Troubled and lonely,
Universally blamed.

Quiet and cautious,
Alluring and kind,
Studious and clever,
In his right state of mind.

To untamed and wild,
As he seems to morph,
From kind to ferocious,
When he’s a werewolf.

He has to be careful,
He has to be strong,
He has to be perfect,
Or he won’t last very long.

Worn-out and dirty,
Tired and hurt,
Remus the werewolf,
Lies broken in the dirt.
Song of the Werewolf by slytheringal
Why am I an outcast?
What have I done?
Do I deserve this?
The curse I have won.

It’s not my fault I’m different,
It’s not my choice you see,
I don’t want to be a werewolf,
You should try being me.

If you took my place,
For just one night,
You’d feel my pain,
You’d know your spite,

For when you’re lying on the floor,
You’ll find no helping hand,
You’ll have to pick yourself back up,
And wander through the land.

So when you’re safe at home in bed,
And I am running wild,
Spare a thought for the werewolf,
Who is truly sweet and mild.
