Goblet of Fire Photo Shoot

For those of you who haven't bother to read my summary:
- These are Harry's racing thoughts as he is forced to give an interview and taking pictures with the other Triwizard Tournament.

I’m so sick of being here,
Pretending to be something I’m not.
Concealing all my present fear,
While posing for the photo shots.

A crowd of people surrounds me,
All gawking at my scar,
I wish I could just break free,
And leave them behind by far.

The independent quill moves up and down,
Writing fibs and juicy lies,
About missing parents long gone,
And describing my deep green eyes.

I never yearned for this to come ‘round.
I never wanted to compete.
I just wanted to sit down,
And safely watch in my own stadium seat.

I guess I’ll have to get used to this,
It’s now my humdrum schedule.
Supposedly, it’s bliss,
To witness the boy-who-lived duel.

I close my eyes and make a wish,
That I’ll capture the golden egg,
Surpass the deadly dragon,
Without breaking my leg.

The light bulbs flash and Rita shouts,
The quill scribbles and I’m lost in confusion,
While people move about,
And my memories are a swirling fusion.

Dumbledore’s just standing there,
Watching me, motionless,
While my protection is stripped bare,
And my attention is portion less.

Help me, save me,
I’m in desperate need.
But no one hears my plea,
As my torn soul begins to bleed.
