A Misshaped Dream by mcclure_512
Summary: A poem about a character seeing something very unexpected within themself. Not a long poem, but hopefully worth the read. It does not really pertain to one character alone, but if you can guess which one I had in mind I will certainly offer you my congratulations!

A Misshaped Dream

A double vision, a misshaped dream
All my clout stitched in my seam.
My visage in twice division,
A misshaped dream, a double vision.

A gory mess, my twisted face
A broken twig fallen from grace.
Laid on attire wrinkled in stress,
My twisted face, a gory mess.

Dull smothered eyes, painted stark white
Tears stopped in time, frozen by night.
A solemn stare of shattered demise,
Painted stark white, dull smothered eyes.

A sudden glare, a quick conclusion
Gather sight to see past this illusion,
Gather courage to see past the stare.
A quick conclusion, a sudden glare.

If shows my wish, not my dread.
If gives me joy, never woe,
Then why do I see myself dead
Inside the mirror of Erised?

A/N I hope you enjoyed it, I look forward to any input anyone has to offer.
