Author's Notes:
The poems are PG-13/3rd-5th for some gore and frightening sequences

The Walk

She walked slowly.

Her hands in her cloak pockets.

The darkness of night surrounded her.

She was on her journey home.

Instinct told her someone was behind her.

She dared not look out of fear, but wanted to, to calm her nerves.

To prove to herself that no one was actually there.

She didn’t turn. Not yet.

She just kept walking, her head facing downwards toward the ground.

Towards the snow and her wet shoes.

She passed an old street lamp.

Upon breathing, she just saw the whisp of air from her mouth.

She couldn’t stand it any longer.

She turned; no one was there.

There were footprints in the snow. Her footprints.

She calmed a little, but not entirely.

She still had that feeling.

Those chills. The empty feeling in her stomach.

She would have been sweating, if it weren’t so cold.

She turned back and kept walking.

Her eyes were constantly looking around.

Something moved behind her.

Her hand felt for her wand, which lay in her robes.

She quickly turned. Wand out. Nothing was there.

A branch was swinging back and forth.

Her head moved in search of the something that had moved it.

There was nothing. It scared her.

But she was prepared. Or so she thought.

She turned back to continue walking.

But there was someone in her way.

Covered in black darker than the night.

The white face of a skull was what met her eyes.

What I Could Have Had by black_ink

A/N: I don't reallt like the title, so if you can come up with anything else while reading, please tell me. thanks. enjoy!

What I Could Have Had

I shouldn’t have remembered.

I was only one at the time.

But I do as if it were yesterday.

I remember seeing three green flashes of light.

At the time I didn’t know what was happening.

Now I know that only two had the wanted effect.

I only remember those three flashes.

Little did I know those flashes would change my life forever.

I could have had a compltetly different life.

A life without the death of loved ones.

A life without people having to sacrifice so much for me.

A life without having fear for my friends, all the time.

A life without being known as the Boy Who Lived,

and for having a scar.

A scar that is a constant reminder to me of the life I could have had.

A life with loved ones, and without a family i hated.

I’ve had to learn to deal with all this, mostly, on my own.

Its not like these are things to completely share with others.

Though I’m sure my friends know what I’ve had to deal with.

How could they not,

they’ve been by my side almost the entire time.

And for that I appreciate everything they have done for me.

I can’t say that if my parents had been alive

I would have been Voldemort-free because I wouldn’t have been.

My parents were part of the Order, and fought against him everyday.

And eventually I would have fought him, too, but not in the same way.

To kill him in any way possible, yes, but not because of the prophecy which haunts me today.

The end of my sixth year of Hogwarts if fast approaching,

as well as the day that determines who shall come to their death:

Voldemort or I.

I learned to live with all these things

that I could have had,

but never got the chance to have,

and never will have.

But in return, I got so much more.

Some good and some absolutely horrible.

A/N: I hope you liked this poem. I thinks its pretty good, so i hope you tell me what you think. Thanks!!!

Heat of the Moment by black_ink

Heat of the Moment

Opening the door, I can feel the heat.

Practically burning my face.

Temperature rising.

The fire is spreading.

It's getting harder to think about the consequences.

Should I stay or leave?

It's getting hotter, but I can't move my feet.

They're cemented to the ground.

The escape route is getting smaller by the second.

Getting crammed in by my mind.

The heats so unbearable.

By taking one step, I decide to take another.

And I leave running.

The faster, the better.

And I'm gone.

The room goes up in flames.

A/N: I hope you liked this one. Its more of a psychological poem, but then again most are. Review...
Beyond the Light by black_ink
Author's Notes:
Draco thinks about how he lives in darkness...
*Note to the people reviewing: I wanted there to be some breaks in the paragraphs.*

Beyond the Light

Darkness.

It's the absence of light.

But people always say that they've

seen darkness.

But they haven't.

They haven’t even come close to knowing

what darkness truly is.

I have.

I have seen horrid things that would

make others go insane just by

knowing what I have seen.

They've seen the imitation darkness;

What people think is darkness.

The almost darkness.

But I have seen the real darkness.

The darkness that's so black that the light

won't even go there.

I've been in a place where

the light won't even reach.

Won't even go near.

Won't even consider going near.

The real darkness lies beyond the light.

And I’ve been there, I’m not afraid.

But what people have seen the real darkness other than I?

The Death Eaters, that’s for sure.

Saint Potter hasn’t.

He’s never even come close.

He never will.

I have seen the real darkness.

The darkness that lies beyond the light.

A/N: If you liked it Review. If you didn't like it Review, anyway. I hope you liked it. ~Sara
Innocent Bystander by black_ink
Author's Notes:
Bad things tend to unfold all around us, but its those who chose to not do anything that get punished...
Innocent Bystander

I'm walking.

The girl walking near me drops something.

I don't pick it up, and just keep walking.

I'm going to hell.

Someone lost something.

I see it, but I don't say anything.

I just keep walking.

I'm going to hell.

Someone near me is crying.

I don't go over to ask what's wrong.

I just keep walking.

I'm going to hell.

A boy nearby has an injured leg.

I don’t go over to help, though I know I should.

I just keep walking.

I’m going to hell.

There's a fight between two people.

I don't break it up or call someone.

I just keep walking.

I'm going to hell.

Someone near me drops something.

The boy next to her doesn't pick it up.

I'll see you in hell.
