Bad at each and every subject,
The main first year reject,
Potions was bad,

Never stood up to a Malfoy,
Ever since he was treated as a toy,
Then someone helped out,

Standing up to a worthless boy.

As a trio snuck out one night,
He was prepared to fight,

Saved Gryffindor from losing,
What everyone was choosing,
Because of his courage,
Slytherins were discouraged,
What he knew was right, he was doing.

Started out really lame,
But then he became,
The one they all loved,
Sent from up above,
Beautiful in his own way.

Went home with a good feeling,
He thought he was dreaming,
But it was true,
What Neville could do,
And the future was gleaming.

Looking forward to his second year,
