The Lost Lord of Wars by uber_angelus
Apathy is indifference,
And therefore never lethal.
Apathy is stoic,
And therefore not ignoble.

Pay heed now, to this junction;
It will not lead astray.
A tale of so much apathy
I will relate today.

Many moons ago, the Founding Four,
All wise beyond belief,
Thought they should build a castle
Upon the Scottish heath.

Now, in this castle, there was no Lord,
No plans for making war.
All alone, but with their thoughts,
They sat and thought of lore.

Late one night, they sat together,
And thought of what to do.
All at once the truth hit them,
They would start a school.

But in the making of the school,
they forgot one crucial thing.
They did not see through his guise,
They had let evil in.

And yet, now all this knowing,
The three, they did not act.
Instead they let it fester,
That day his fate was wrapp'd.

Instead of condemning the evil one
To the flames which we call hell,
They left his line to populate.
They walked him towards the knell.

Because of thier apathy,
The Lord of Wars was lost.
Because of their indifference,
He paid the final cost.

When now, my friends, you think of it;
Do not think of being stoic.
Remember Cedric Diggory,
In every way heroic.

A child so full of innocence,
Killed by evils hand.
A millennia of apathy
Means he no longer stands.
