For years I've been secluded,
Hiding in the shadows of a fool.
But, it's his plans I've precluded,
Instead of plowing like a mule.

And then he fell from his lofty peak -
His powers within that of a egg.
And with his outlook very bleak,
He was the one to beg.

He promised me a killing,
Yes, of course, but I digress,
But I'd rather bite a shilling,
Than help his nobelesse.

Even so, I decided that,
I'd nurse him back to form.
But after feeding that little rat,
His promises were torn.

So I decided life was better,
Heeding nature's call.
I poisoned his milk and tore my fetters,
Now I wait for him to fall.
