He brushes away her hair,
Face visible now.
He smiles at the sight of her.
Holding hands as they sit in a chair together by the fire.
She’s on his lap, smiling too.
Breathing gently, he can feel every movement she makes.
She looks up, looking at every piece of him.

His red hair and little freckles look even handsomer in her eyes.
He inhales in her smell, fresh and soft.
They stare into each others eyes,
Slowly moving in, their foreheads touch.
Her head moves back slightly but only to be caught and pulled delicately
Back.

As they lean in for the second time they bump noses.
They both pulled back in alarm, rubbing there noses.
But she was still smiling, as she reached in and kissed him tenderly on the lips.
Taking in the kiss he kissed her back.
They both leaned back, blinking at each other then smiled.
That was Ron’s and Lavender’s first kiss.
