"Longing..."




I love you
in a way I cannot explain,
in a way it can only be felt and lived.

Your eyes captivate me,
and your beautiful smile shakes me.
My hands are your hands,
and your heart makes my blood run.

If to have you for a second
I’d have to give everything I am,
then I would think that the sacrifice
is not worth of the reward.

Your laughter is already carved in my heart.
Your hair sliding down your shoulders,
surrounding your face,
will forever occupy my senses

Your face is… resplendent.
I have no other way to describe you
but by the love
I profess towards you.

I wish you could know how much I love you,
but I find that the paper is not enough,
because however long the parchment is,
it cannot contain the fire of my longing.

I desire you beyond the physical.
I desire your flesh without the lust.
I desire your lips without the morbidity.
I simply desire your soul completely.

To hold you between my arms is my wish.
Your smile is my dream.
Your hands are my thinking.
Your love… is my reason.

Your voice will always make me smile,
and your eyes will always destroy my fears.
But your love is the thing that will redeem me
because you are my salvation
and my doom…
