This is my first poetry fan fiction. I don't usually write in this style. Please review!

You were never there

Bella was the beauty queen,
Cissy was the prize,
I was just the rebel,
You loved them all their lives.

While they went into Slytherin
I was put in Gryffindor.
You said they were so perfect
You said I was a whore.

My friends always stood by me
But you sang a different song.
They say blood ties are strongest
I guess that they were wrong.

You locked me out and packed my things
You left me in the street.
I had to sell the things I loved
Just to make ends meet.

I’m married now, I’ll have you know
I don’t need you any more.
I have a daughter, baby girl
I’ll never call her “whore.”

She’ll know of love and not the pain
Of a mother’s scorn.
You were never there for me
Or her, when she was born.
