Author's Notes:
A little poem I was too inspired to keep from writing...

Disclaimer: I own nothing of this. I’m just having fun using JKR’s characters and my imagination. I’m not making any money out of it, and no copyright violation intended

Dedicatory: Once again, to my muse.

"Once"

Once, your arms
closed around my neck.
Once, your lips
curled against my cheek.

For a fleeting second,
I felt the warm of your love
before it vanished
into a mist of a memory.

Now I lay on my bed,
and it feels too big for me.
I wish you were lying
just beside me.

Once, I dreamt you.
You were at my side,
lying with me,
your eyes on me.

My arm circled your waist.
It pressed your back
against my pounding chest,
your hair falling over your smile.

I woke up from my dream
into my real nightmare.
You sprang wings,
my angel beyond my grasp.

You left warm sheets behind
and a broken dream.
And I’m alone again
as I crave for the night once again.

Once, I felt your lips,
and once, I felt your arms.
But forever I knew
I was lost in you.

The End

A/N: It's funny. I was ready to sleep, and suddenly, inspiration came to me. I grabbed my laptop and typed it immediately... and I like the outcome. I know it is not anything outstanding, but it has a certain peace to it that became my comfort.

This will be my last update on my chaptered story. I say last because the next thing will be the first chapter of the story. I feel ashamed of myself for procastinating it for far too long, but I'm going to post the first chapter as I get the email from my beta with some advices about the summary and her opinion about the title. I will post it as soon as I get it!

Thanks for reading! I know that I can't ask more, given that you already spent part of your time reading this poem, but if you reviewed, I'll be very, very grateful :)
