Lullaby

Hush little Harry,
Please don’t cry.
Your Mummy’s here,
I’ll hold you tight.

I’ll keep you safe,
Rock you in your sleep.
No more nightmares,
Only sweet dreams.

Nothing will hurt us,
Nothing will hurt you.
Our friends will make sure that -
Only they know the truth.

Only they know our refuge,
This house – we trust
Our secret will remain
Until the years gather dust.

You need never worry,
Our protection is strong.
Our love will survive,
Our love will prolong.

And if ever it weakens
Or enemies prevail,
I’ll be here to defend you,
My protection won’t fail.

And if anything happens
For you, I would die.
My love’s unconditional,
You’re my Harry, my life.

So hush, little Harry
Your Mummy’s still here.
I’ll be here with you always,
I’ll always be near.

I’ll be here in the morning,
When the birds are in flight,
I’ll watch you quietly, sleeping,
