Only Ever Fragile by wendelin the wierd
A/N- This is my first ever non-rhyming poem! Please, please read and review. It would mean a lot to me. *Holds out stash of chocolate*

When I had these walls around myself,
These fragile, fragmentary, foolish walls,
They weren’t meant to be torn down.

For these were without windows,
And they lead to my soul,
To it’s solitary, satanic, sweet depths.

The escape, my revenge and an ambiguous soul,
Till blood is mud and might is right,
Which runs in our veins, swirled with salt and tears that will never be seen.

My foolish lamentations, whispers of white wings,
All I had left to hide behind,
Torn down, with a single sorrowful song of despair.

Maybe not even that.
