I felt my red hair,
Whipping
In the wind around me.

I watched him
Look back at me
One
Last
Time.

Green eyes,
Just shy of total
Insanity.

The war had done it.

And he didn’t need to say it,
For I knew,
Just as I’d always known,
That he loved me.

And a man named Tom Riddle
Tried to take that away from me.
But Riddle couldn’t take it.

He couldn’t take it through
War.
He couldn’t take it through
Hate.

Tom could take the
Boy
Away from me,

But he could never take the
Memories.

He could never take the
Love.
