She’s torn inside, her sorrows drowned,
He looks up to see her face,
Her tears are falling on the ground.
But he remains unfazed.
He looks at her, his eyes so blue,
Eyes fade from blue to gray,
And he knows that she’s torn too,
And he’ll never go away.
He wants to be by her side,
Stroke her hair, see her cry,
But she pushes him, hurts his pride,
And then she dies.
He tells himself he doesn’t care,
For she made heaven’s face so fair.
