Summary: Do you fight for love or power? Can you give up humanity and innocence? For what are we without either? Poems reflect on things and they touch our hearts. (Drat! I thought the song it was inspired by was 'Wind Beneath my Wings' but it was 'Everytime' by Britney Spears. It didn't have lyrics and I wasn't sure. Anyway, read it with 'Everytime' and ignore the A/N.)

Author's Notes:

I suggest listening to 'Wind Beneath my Wings' while reading the poem. It only vaguely relates to Harry Potter but I hope you like it. ~_^

Is it so hard to see beyond a face or blood?
Is it so hard to cry when you are hurt inside?
Is it so hard to fight for what you believe in?

Forever may seem so long,
But forever isn’t long at all.
Forever stretches as long as you see it.
It can stretch as far as the stars,
And it can stretch as long as you do.

Even in the midst of tolling bells of war,
Life goes on.
Children are born and love blooms.
The stars will hold us like children forever.

We are the children of nature.
We can give up innocence,
And we can give up humanity,
But we can never give up what we fight for.

Evil fights for evil and the good fight for good.
Evil fights for power and good fights for love.
Evil will fight for vengeance and good will fight forever.

Yet evil and good are together always.
One would not be without the other.
In a never ending battle,
In a never ending dance,
They are together forever.
