Author's Notes:
Thanks a million to Gmariam, for being a dear and betaing this for me!

Relighting the Candle

This place is dark for me; too dark and cold,
Killing and laughing, we misuse our magic;
We're trampling, and are sure to cause havoc
He melts our souls, and pours them into a mold.
Yet it's our fault, for it is us who've sold-
Our individual will, our wax, our wick,
And he's put them away, so though we are quick
We cannot re-light it, it will not be bold.
But wait! What's this! It simply cannot be!
A necklace of gold, filled with soul too dark
A breaking point clear in the Dark Lord's shield
Stealing it would crush his monarchy,
And our candles I will light to spite the mark
Our separate wills we shall then proudly wield!
