aromatic

as orange groves

in sun-drenched

soft and silky,

elegant

as the curves

of my lover's

body.

of memories,

bright with flavour,

tasting

of wild heather,

 with hints of

peat.

is the colour

of regret,

aged over time,

brought

to maturity

in casks of

bitterness.

Amber

is the colour

of shame,

refined by guilt,

felt

when faces tighten

as I drink

Firewhisky.
