On that last day, they see their dreams,

Lost, in a torrent of regimes.

War lengthens the marble white rows,

Murdered by cruel, insensate foes,

Tangled by prophetic extremes.

Bludgeoned down, brutality streams,

Hope is spent, and you hear the screams,

People bursting with spite impose,

On that last day.

Through butchery, a hero gleams,

Promising wizards, he redeems.

Filling prophecies he never chose,

He, solitary can depose,

Those who live in the dark it seems,

On that last day.
