Seeker by Soccer_rocks_likeHP
Author's Notes:
I'd like to thank my wonderful Beta Lindsey, Ron x Hermione. She's helped me with many things and is amazing!
Part of the Team,
Yet away from it all.
Searching the grounds,
For one golden ball.

Across the pitch,
It flits and it flies,
Never know where it is,
For it’s all over the sky.

Suddenly you see it,
You’re off in a dash,
Flying at top speeds
And having a blast!

Neck and neck,
Almost there,
Must beat the other Seeker,
He sends over a glare.

In that instant,
You quickly advance your broom,
In front of him you stay,
Not giving him room.

You’re nearing the snitch,
You stretch out your hand,
You’re fingertips grasp the tiny ball,
As the broom touches down to land.

The game is over,
The crowd begins to cheer,
“You won the game!”
They shout for all to hear.

Your team is a hero,
Your victory is apparent.
You’ll all be honored
Until you face your next opponent.
Beaters by Soccer_rocks_likeHP
Author's Notes:
Thank you again to my amazing Beta Lindsey, Ron x Hermione! You are awesome!

Bludgers flying everywhere,

Each player is depending on us.

Aiming for the other team.

Together my partner and I will work,

Enjoying the look on the target’s face

Readily awaiting another Bludger.

Beaming as we watch our Chasers score,

Laughing at the other team’s mistakes,

Urging our Seeker to find the Snitch,

Diving to save a fellow player,

Gleefully watching the capture of the Snitch,

Eagerly congratulating each of our players,

Ready to go celebrate late into the night.

A/N This was a different type of poem than the previous chapter. It's called an Acrostic. Keep an eye out for the next chapter, it'll be out soon. Sorry for the wait on this chapter, RL is crazy!

Chasers by Soccer_rocks_likeHP
Author's Notes:
Thank you to wonderful Lindsey again!

Three of us per team,
Gliding towards the goal posts,
Quaffle under arm.

Opponent coming,
Pass the Quaffle just in time,
Zoom ahead to help.

They return the pass,
Almost there, tricked the Keeper,
The Quaffle soars past.

It goes through the ring,
I high-five my glad teammates,
Then resume the game.

I have the Quaffle,
The whistle blows, stopping me,
The game is over.

A/N This was another different style of poem, Haikus! I'm sorry for the little wait. I'll try not to make you wait as long for the final chapter. Keep an eye out for the next chapter!
Keeper by Soccer_rocks_likeHP
Author's Notes:
This is the final chapter in A Quidditch Collection. I hope you've enjoyed these poems and plan to read more of my writing. Finally a BIG thank you to the lovely Linsey for beta-ing this for me!
Chasers
Flying near,
Quaffle in hand,
Trying to score against
Me.

Keeper,
Fast, agile,
Guarding, saving, passing.
Keeps the Quaffle from going in.
Player.

I must
Save the Quaffle
And protect three goalposts.
I keep the opponent’s points low.
Keeper.

Watching,
The Chasers fly
Nearer. I prepare to
Fly and block the targeted ring.
Saved it!

Bludger,
Powerful, hard,
Zooming, ramming, injuring,
Narrowly missed me.
Dangerous!

Whistle
Finally blows.
The game ends,
Snitch caught, we won!
Champions!

Landing,
Patting backs
Of our teammates,
Shouting out good lucks.
Happy.

Crowd,
Large, excited,
Congratulating, smiling, handshaking,
Ready for the after party.
Fans.

Squeezing
Through the big crowd,
Heading for our lockers,
Laughing and talking all the while.
Winners.

A/N Thank you to all you fans who have left encouraging reviews! It means a lot and helps keep me going. As you may have noticed each chapter is a different type of poem. Well this one is just the same, it's called a Cinquain. I used all three patterns.
