Charlie Weasley slowly trudged onto the Quidditch pitch. He held his breath and enjoyed the serenity of the pitch. It was rarely this silent and peaceful, but after a close game that ended in a tough loss despite Charlie's excellent capture of the Snitch, none of the Gryffindors felt like staying near the pitch. Charlie had wanted a win so badly. This was only his sixth year at Hogwarts, so he still had next year but for many of his teammates, this was their last chance to win. He knew it was still possible, but they needed to win their final match by a larger amount now.

Charlie let out a rather loud, exasperated sigh. He was shocked to hear his release of frustration to be met by a rather amused giggle. Even though her hair was yellow and black striped to support her house's Quidditch, Charlie couldn't help but smile when he saw that the person laughing at him was Nymphadora Tonks. Although they were not in the same house, Charlie and Tonks were decent friends through all the classes they shared.

"So Nymphadora, you think that my anger is funny?" Charlie asked, emphasizing the first name he knew she loathed so much.

"I actually do, and I can because look which of our houses just won the match," Tonks smiled as she walked towards Charlie.

"What are you doing down here anyway?" Charlie questioned.

"Forgot my bag," She answered and held up her tattered tote.

Charlie rolled his eyes. "Of course. You always have to forget something where ever you go."

"I do not!" Tonks gasped in mock outrage.

"Either that or you're tripping over something." Charlie gazed at her with a mischievous grin.

Tonks smirked back and scrunched up her nose. In a few moments, her head was covered in a mess of scarlet hair and her nose and cheeks sported a smattering of freckles.

"Very funny. Make fun of the majority of the world who can't change their appearance at will. Show off," Charlie grumbled, nudging her slightly with his elbow. She responded by nudging him back while changing her hair back to its usual vivid pink. While trying to do both these tasks at once, Tonks lost her balance and tumbled to the ground, leaving Charlie standing above her howling with laughter.

Tonks grabbed the sleeve of Charlie's robe, causing him to come crashing down on top of her. She smirked and smugly told him, "That's what you get for laughing at me."

Charlie rolled his eyes as he moved off her. He tucked his hands behind his head and gazed up at the sky. The sun was just beginning to set and the entire sky was a variety of beautiful pinks, blues, yellows, and oranges. He turned his head to his left and looked at Tonks. Her brilliant blue eyes were staring straight at the sky and she had a far-off expression on her face. This is perfect, Charlie thought to himself as he turned to face the sky once more. Since the beginning of the school year he had admired Tonks, both from afar and when they were together as friends. He had always thought she was beautiful, no matter how she changed her looks. Sunset had always been his favorite time of day, and the Quidditch pitch one of his favorite places. He couldn't help but smile.

"What are you thinking about?" Tonks calmly asked him.

Charlie sighed contently. "Just being here, watching the sunset with you. Everything's so quiet. It's nice to be away from the chaos and stress of school." Tonks half-smiled at him. "Go ahead and make fun of me for sounding so girly."

"You really think I'd make fun of you for that? I think it's rather romantic actually," Tonks admitted.

"Really?" Charlie grinned even wider. "I just thought you'd make fun of me because you know, that's kind of what we do to each other."

"I'm not serious when I make fun of you. I just want to make you laugh," Tonks said quietly.

"I'm not serious either."

Neither said anything for what felt like an eternity. The sun was almost fully set when Tonks finally whispered, "Charlie, I think I fancy you."

Charlie's eyes lit up and he propped himself up on his elbow to get a good look at her. "Really?"

Tonks nodded nervously.

"I fancy you too, Tonks." Charlie reached over a tucked a piece of her shoulder-length hair behind her ear. His touch sent shivers down her spine and she smiled shyly. This is the first time I've ever seen her look even a little timid, Charlie laughed to himself. Her smooth, pale skin radiated in what little sunlight was left. He could no longer control his temptation. He slowly leaned forward and brushed his pink lips against her cheek. It wasn't so much as a kiss, but a question to see if she would be okay to really kiss her.

"Charlie, if you're going to kiss me, at least give me a real kiss," Tonks told him. Charlie obeyed and pressed him lips against hers. It felt so right for the two of them to be together. Neither of them wanted this moment to end and both were reluctant to end each kiss, but eventually the need to breath would cause one of them to pull away for just a few seconds. They kissed until their lips were bright crimson and swollen. When Tonks's face was illuminated by only the soft light of the moon and stars, Charlie realized it must be getting pretty late.

"Tonks…Nymphadora…we need to get back up to the school," Charlie reluctantly muttered as Tonks moved her lips along his neck.

"You know, that awful name of mine actually sounds decent when you say it," she mumbled.

"This is amazing, but we have to stop. It's probably already past curfew." Charlie pulled away from Tonks and stood up. He then held his hand down and helped her up off the grass. Charlie wrapped his arms around her and they kissed once more before they walked up to the school hand in hand.

"Does this mean you're my boyfriend now?" Tonks gazed up at Charlie.

"Only if you'll be my girlfriend," He gave her hand a slight squeeze.

Tonks beamed. "I've never had a boyfriend before."

Charlie smiled down at her. She was so adorable; he just knew his family would love her. He couldn't wait to send an owl to his mother telling her about Tonks. He knew that Molly and Ginny would especially like Tonks. Ginny, Charlie's seven year old sister, always complained about "too many boys" in their house and Charlie suspected she would get along great with his new girlfriend.

"Well, I guess I'll see you at breakfast tomorrow," Tonks sighed as they reached the door to the Entrance Hall.

"Definitely," Charlie assured her as he held the door open for her.

The smiles that had been present on their faces constantly for the past few hours instantly disappeared as they entered the castle. They quickly dropped each other's hand.

"Hello Professor McGonagall," Tonks said, blushing.

"Good evening Miss Tonks, Mr. Weasley. What are you two doing entering the building at this hour?" The professor looked at them with a knowing gleam in her eye.

"Um, we just needed a spot of fresh air. Isn't that right, Nymphadora?" Charlie explained, looking at Tonks and noticing that she was also trying to suppress her laughter.

"It can get quite stuffy in a crowded common room when the weather begins to get warm." Tonks nodded in agreement.

"Well, if that's the situation, I'll let both of you escape from your stuffy common rooms tomorrow night to serve detention in my classroom. I also think that ten points from both Hufflepuff and Gryffindor seems fair. If both of you are not back in your respectful common rooms in the next five minutes, those ten points will become fifty each. Good night to both of you," Professor McGonagall told them sternly.

"Good night!" Charlie and Tonks called in unison as McGonagall walked away. As soon as she was far enough away, they caught each other's eye and laughed. Despite their amusement, they both took Professor McGonagall seriously. Together, they walked over to the staircase, but there they parted with a kiss, a quick embrace, and goodnight wishes.

As Tonks walked to the Hufflepuff Common Room, she couldn't help but think to herself how lucky she was. Charlie Weasley was her first boyfriend. The Charlie Weasley. The one everyone regarded as the best Seeker that Hogwarts had seen in a long time. Charlie Weasley, who was everyone's friend. He was famous around the school and could have any girl he wanted. But he chose Tonks.
