Author's Notes:
This is my first story/poem on this site so I would appreciate if you reviewed to give me suggestions on how to get better at writing, what I need to improve on, etc.
I have not forgotten you,
I have not forgotten what all we used to do.
I have not forgotten your rosy cheeks, your beautiful smile,
I have not forgotten, if I said I did, I would be in denial.
I have not forgotten your tinkering laugh, your caring ways,
I have not forgotten you, after all these weeks, years… days…
I have not forgotten your large heart,
The heart that I broke apart.
I have not forgotten what I said,
And I have not forgotten, that you are now dead.
I have not forgotten you are gone,
I have not forgotten what I have sworn.
I will protect him with all my power,
All for you, my beautiful Lily flower.
A/N; This is Severus telling Lily he hasn't forgotten her, nor his promise to Dumbledore about protecting her son. The line, 'The Heart I broke apart' was reffering to when he called her mudblood, and him going more towards the dark side. I don't suggest Lily love him, but I do think she cared for him as a friend. And it broke her heart to see him say those things to her. Anyway, please Review!
