Escaping Azkaban by Legilimency
Author's Notes:
I do not own Bellatrix Lestrange, thank goodness, or any other character in Harry Potter.
Don't argue with the voices in your head–
There's just no point. I used to lie awake,
Insomniac, remembering the dead;
My past returns at night, but with daybreak
The sunlight makes my terrors more mundane–
Its rays obscure, darkness illuminates.
But what's to hide? I know I am insane.
The ghosts have told me so. And yet, my fate
Could be much worse. Reality's a bore,
Saneness a shackle. Madness sets me free.
Death, unrequited love, I just ignore–
Why suffer from the sad reality?
As the night fades, the ghosts will go away
Pursued by bloody dawn. There is no day.
