The Grim by Literate_Quill
Summary: This isn't some long winded story about the Grim. It is actually a poem I wrote. I couldn't think of any good storylines, so I decided to put my way with words to good use and whip up a little something. If you can, leave a review... Please?

The Grim

It says it in the tea leaves,
No denying that.
But Professor Trelawney says it…
Come on! Do you take me for a prat!?

Bad omens don’t exist,
I simply refuse to believe otherwise.
They’ve ruined the lives of people.
Brought only their demise.

And yet people do believe.
They devote their lives and look.
Chapters and even more chapters,
Written in an accursed book!

I’ve seen some.
And they’ve scared me a bit, just a tad.
But I was thirteen years old,
I hardly considered them bad.

But then it was only my Godfather!
I was happy, no denying that.
I thought I was free from the Dursleys,
But that was changed due to a rat!

Sirius had to flee,
At which I was most aggrieved.
But at least he didn’t get kissed.
I must say, Snape was really peeved.

He spent his life in hiding,
Alone with Buckbeak.
When ever I wanted to send him a letter;
His location Hedwig would have to seek.

I spent summer with him,
Right before my fifth year.
Kreacher wasn’t happy at all,
Because he greeted me with a leer.

I don’t know if bad omens aren’t real anymore.
They’ve been looking at me and pounding into my head.
All these years I haven’t noticed them.
Maybe that’s why Sirius is dead.
