Author's Notes:

This is the first story/poem I've ever submitted, so don't be too harsh on me! This death in particular struck me the most in DH and I'm still not over it, so it was kind of depressing to write this. Anyway, hope you like it!. Disclaimer: I don't own anything from the HP world. It's all JK Rowling's.

Alone

Inside I cry, the tears won't dry
And for once they won't spring to life
As they sure know, not long ago
Alone they were left to die,

Loveliest of days where have you been,
And why does sorrow take over?
Don't know what I'll do without my twin,
Not sure if I'll ever recover.

Worthless veil, that stands in between,
Stand aside, or I'll make a scene;
How dare you, dreaful machine,
Take him with you, and my soul with him!

What would I give to have you by my side,
Not for eternity, just one more time,
Inside I cry and my tears won't dry;
I should had been there,
I should had said goodbye.
