A/N: I do not own Harry Potter, no matter how much I ask Father Christmas for him. *sigh*

Stubbornly_appeared got this back to me almost frighteningly fast, and she is an excellent beta.

I know you (the face blurs)
Where have I seen you? (so familiar)
I know you (the tears flow freely)
(they mark their path)

I hear you (why do you cry?)
And I reach (but impossibility meets)

The mirror breaks (look, watch it crumble)
And you shatter to pieces (fragile as glass)
Along with my soul.
(we are glass and fracture)

Author's Note: This was meant to be from Hermione's POV, when she's feeling particularly angsty. It was meant to mean that she is looking in the mirror and seeing her flaws, how she's not perfect, but this can apply to several different characters and situations. Please tell me what you thought of this and it's utter . . . shortness. :)
