I hope that you all liked this poem! It's dedicated to clumsywerewolf, who is probably one of Tonks and Lupin's greatest fans!

I know this can’t go on
We know we don’t have a chance.

There’s no hope for us
We can never be together.

Then why do we continue on
Day after day, week after week?

Why do I find so much joy in your eyes
When you spot me in a crowd?

Why do our lips always meet
Even when you tell me to stop?

Why do you push me away
Then draw me closer?

We care about each other
And we can’t lie about that.

So why not leave together
And live out our days in peace?

You tell me you’re cursed
But I still love the beast.
