Curses flying,
Dodging spells,
Running to find him,
(Oh, Remus, where are you?)
Across the chest of his opponent,
A Stunner finds its way.
He’s immobile, for the time being.
(Oh, thank God!)
He turns to see you
Standing there.
He told you to stay home.
No, you say,
Here is where I belong.
Grasping hands
A passionate kiss,
Quickly ended by a spell
He failed to miss.
You watch the light
Leave his eyes as
He drops to the ground.
At the feet of his killer,
He lays.
(NO!)
Your heart shatters, then,
Tears streaming down your face,
As you turn to face your new opponent,
Your heart just starting to race.
Her taunts bounce off your ears,
Spell after spell you dodge,
But swiftly,
Your fight for survival leaves you,
Quick as he did.
You make no attempt to stop it.
(Remus, I’m coming.)
Your fire
Burns out.
