Cette Nuit by clabbert2101
Summary: A rallying cry for the Order. I'd like to think that Tonks and Lupin stood in the front of the Great Hall before the final battle, and took turns giving this speech.

Author's Notes:
I actually found this written in my journal, and it's dated a few hours after I finished reading Deathly Hallows. This is how I envisioned the final moments before the Final Battle. Supposedly delivered by Nymphadora and Remus.
Come my friends, into the night,

If it be our last, then we shall fight.

Our army pales beside their force,

Yet destiny shall run its course.

A young man not yet out of school,

Our only hope; my heart is full

Of dreams and fears, friends and foes

And memories, our highs and lows.

So though we stand, now filled with fright,

Friends, follow me into the night.

I know that end notes are available now, but I need to bump up the word count. My poems are always rather short, but I think this one is actually long for me. Some reviews would be rather nice, because this is only my second fic, and suggestions or comments are rather appreciated.
